Review of Somewhere In The City
The Drum Media - 24th July 2001
Review by Ross Clelland

Mr Kelly is walking the neon streets again, with his hands shoved
deep in his coat pockets, searching for that girl again. There's
a contained anger in the twangy guitar, that only serves to remind
of Coloured Girls days past, and the song keeps pacing up the street,
looking in pub windows hoping he might sight her. Throw in what
sounds like The Deltones after a few mulls doing the backing vocals
and this himself in fine form. He throws in a song he gave to someone
else (Foggy Highway) and a muse on mortality (I Wasted Time) that
makes you remember you miss him when he's not around.
