Frequently Asked Questions about this website
6.1 What is the history of the site and
how long has it been around?
The site was originally created in August 1994, revamped in
May 1998, moved to the current site on 5th August 2000, redesigned
again 1st August 2001, and with another new album out in 2004,
another redesign.
The pages were originally put together as a fan site by Eva
Blanda (nee Zsigri) in her spare time. Eva took submissions
from people all over the Internet (see contributors)
and compiled the collective wisdom into the discography, lyrics
and tabs pages. As Paul kept pumping out the new material,
the site grew to accomodate all his activities.
Eventally the project moved from being purely a fan site
into the official Paul Kelly website. The domain of www.paulkelly.com.au
was registered (didn't want the Swans
captain or the Financial
Review editor to get it!) with regular contributions now
being made by management and record company (far more from
EMI than Mushroom).
6.2 Who maintains the site?
Eva Blanda's web design business, Z
Design, takes care of the site on a daily basis.
6.3 Who are the contributors and how can
I make my contribution?
So many people have forwarded valuable information to the
site which have helped it become the incredible resource that
you find here today.
Big thanks go to people who've contributed to the discography:
Magnus Holmgren, Eric M Keys, John Robinson, Frank
Savaglio, Dale Smith, Andrew Tupper, Michael Richmond, Richard
Yakle, S. Miller, Marina Kmet, Andrew Wilson, Dave Howes,
Joel Bortnick, Greg Garrett, Zbigniew Nowara, Gerald McNamara,
Nick Volpato
Thanks also to people who have fast typing fingers and have
worked on both lyrics and tabs over the years:
Eric Keys, Geoff Wilson, Jeff
Scott (guitar tabs)
And to all the others that I have forgotten to mention...
Thank You!
